Art of Cosmetic Dentistry

I found this dentist after moving to Atlanta. The first thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that, after I scheduled, they told me I would need a consultation appointment, and additionally, a follow up appointment to get my teeth cleaning done. The slot that I had booked (weeks ago) for a teeth cleaning - the dentist only had time for the consultation. I already had asked off work. After some pushback, they did offer me a future appointment where they could do the consultation and the cleaning back to back. Once I arrived, I got a very "salesly" vibe from this office. They tried to sell me an electric toothbrush (I already had an electric toothbrush, but the dentist had never heard of the brand and said it probably wasn't sufficient), $50 mouthwash. There are adds for botox and procedures everywhere (perhaps this is to be expected being called art of "costmetic" dentistry). I have had braces, and although there have been small shifts, I have objectively very straight teeth (see picture). The dentist still recommended Invisalign, because supposedly the small misalignments are causing too much buildup to get stuck between my teeth. They did x-rays without checking my insurance. The x-rays ended up not being covered as they were done too soon, so I left with a ~$300 x-ray charge I will say, it did feel like a very thorough cleaning. But it was painful - I have never experienced pain when getting a simple teeth cleaning but it was very uncomfortable. Finally, they told me I needed 2 fillings. I thought this was strange, because, at 34 years old, I have only had 1 filling in my adult life. My prior dentist - 6 months ago - did tell me there was one to watch that may develop into needing a filling. But I thought it was weird that this had turned into 2 immediate fillings required in 6 months. I decided not to get the fillings, and needless to say, I found a different dentist 6 months later for my next cleaning. The new dentist did not recommend any fillings.

SUPER, SUPER, SUPER helpful!! The customer service began before the appointment. I had called twice before the actual appointment. I had some anxiety about payment options, and they kindly gave me a clear, warm response. The second call was about parking arrangements, and they patiently explained where I needed to park. When I arrived for my appointment, I was welcomed, and they asked if I was able to find parking— love that they cared so much! Amazing front desk staff. And don’t get me started on the awesome music selection, very circa 2012-2016—I did arrive very early to my appointment today, so it made the wait surprisingly fun. The dental hygienist who worked alongside the dentist was phenomenal and answered all my questions. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is on the lookout for a dentist.

My first visit here was great! The staff was very kind and knowledgable during my visit. The x-Ray and cleaning service was very thorough! I highly recommend coming here for your next dental needs.

I have a great time having an appointment with art of cosmetic dentistry. Dr steph is very nice and thorough. And the front desk is soo niceee her name chelsea, she is so lovely and loves to assist. Its awesome here. I recommend this place 100 percent.

All office staff were friendly and welcoming. Dentist visits always make me nervous but not this care. From the front desk to Tara and Dr. Wohlers everyone addressed my concerns and made me feel heard. I would definitely recommend this office and staff to anyone. Happy smiles thanks ladies
