I recently went to Charette Cosmetics for a Level I chemical peel. This was my first time going there (or a med spa in general). The results are still pending as I'm on day 5 and Jordynn was a sweetheart. One thing I didn't appreciate was the lack of transparency on the products and the cost for that. Yes, beauty is an investment, but it would've been great to get clarity before walking to check out about the additional price that was not discussed during consultation or procedure. In addition, I thought there would be a more thorough review of my skin under the light versus recommending a Level I peel off rip, but I'm hopeful to see what the results look like following post treatment. Will update once completed. Edited as of 02/25/2026: the chemical peel showed a very minimal impact and the products are drying my skin out. When I reached out by text and call, I am either not responded to or left on hold with a run around. I am honestly disappointed with the experience and expected better. I had minor concerns about scarring around my mouth from the peel to no response. Edited 02/25/2026 @ 5:48PM: Paul and Jordynn as well as the office director, Jillian, in the Miami office have done their due diligence to follow up with me personally to hear my grievances and concerns, which really made a difference. I'm going to be a bit more patient through this process to see it through and will update this in 7 days.
