Took me a while to find a licensed, clean, and professional permanent makeup artist in Atlanta but I found all that and more in Ebony. I absolutely love my brows and I’m so glad I trusted the process. I didn’t experience any flaking, scabbing, or darkening and my brows maintained pigment throughout the healing process. (This post includes my initial appointment and 6 week follow-up) I had been thinking of getting Microblading for a few years now. My daughter recommended Ebony Brows. My appointment was yesterday, so I have quite some time before I see the final outcome. At some point before the actual appointment, it would've been nice and helpful to have had a conversation (consultation) about what I desired, as well as to hear suggestions. Also, hearing a description of what was getting ready to take place right before the procedure would've been great. The atmosphere was nice and clean, and the music was appropriate and soothing. My experience was a good one. My appointment started on time, and I appreciated that. Ms. Ebony was professional. The only thing that stood out about my experience was the $28 fee I had to pay for using my card. I don't recall reading or seeing anything about that fee. If I had, I definitely would've brought cash for payment. Paying via Zelle, CashApp, or any other option was never suggested or recommended, as alternative methods to keep from incurring the $28 fee. I didn't ask about other options because I was told the accepted methods of payment were Cash or Card. Overall, the day after my appointment is going ok. I left with a headache that eventually subsided earlier today. I'm looking forward to my 6-week follow up. UPDATE: (4-23-24 / 6 Week Follow-up) After my initial appointment, nothing much happened during my healing. I didn't have pain, dry skin, peeling, sensitivity, nothing. Today's appointment started off with Ebony and I having a conversation about my initial appointment, after care, expectations, and desired look. I showed her screenshots of what I ultimately wanted my brows to resemble. She explained loss of pigmentation and suggested adding shading to the arched look I desired. I'm recovering from a broken foot and have been since Feb. I think I must've had pain medication in my system during my 1st appointment because I don't recall feeling much pain, but babaaaay, I'm here to tell you, I was laying and 2nd guessing my life and life choices tuhday 😆😆 as Ebony did her job. I can describe the pain but don't want to scare off any potential clients. Just know, we women ENDURE a LOT for Beauty! At the end of the appointment, I was 😊 from ear to ear!! Ebony perfected my look. My brows look natural, and I am very happy with the results. I am happy I trusted the process, and showed up for my follow-up appointment.
