Heal Center

I’ve known Heal Center for about 10 years. I first came here to take a reflexology class, and I was really touched by the experience. A few years later, I also rented one of their treatment rooms for my own work. This place has always been consistent — warm, welcoming, and peaceful. I’m very grateful for the support they offer to people who need classroom space or treatment rooms. The inside is always set up in a cozy and inviting way, and it truly feels like a healing space.

This is the best massage I've received in the 40 years of receiving massages. I've heard people say they felt like they were being manipulated like putty by massage therapists but Michael went beyond that. I informed him of some pain in my left hip radiating down to my ankle. He moved the hip and leg in such a way that it felt more like he was playing an instrument because he moved his fingers ever so slightly to get just the right muscles to release and relax. His skills are beyond words, and his energy is calm, relaxing and humble. Roz is a great teacher in Reflexology and Aromatherapy. When I saw an ad for Reflexology classes as The Heal Center a few years ago, I signed up without doing any research or due diligence only to find that I was exactly in the right place with the right teachers and guidance within the first 5 minutes of my class. Michael and Roz are both caring and committed. Caring about how they take care of everyone that walks through their door and Committed to furthering the fields of Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. This is the best place in the southeast if you're looking for self-care, in addition to knowledge, courses and CE's.

Did a comprehensive cupping therapy class on March 23-24. Ryan ,the best instructor,i practice cupping, but this class let me embrace it more than ever. He is more indepth and I love his teaching techniques. The classroom/general areas were very clean, and they provided hot beverages for both days . It was far the most wonderful experience. Ryan, I am looking forward to the advance cupping class.

Heal Center is an incredible place to take CE courses. It is clean, beautiful and well equipped. The owners are charming, high quality people who are well organized and very professional. I have taught and taken many CE courses across the USA and can confidently and honestly say Heal Center is at the top of my list of places to teach and study.

I have previously visited this center a few years ago for tendinitis of the elbow and it was remiss of me to not post a review. I went back to see Michael as I had pulled a muscle while doing a yoga routine at home. I was having issues with climbing steps and walking due to injury to my hip muscles. Healing center is a calm, clean and a well maintained space and I am so thankful to have it in my neighborhood. Michael Zollinger has full functional knowledge of the body and knows exactly what to work on to make any injury better. He is kind, patiently listens and observes and then works to help in the recovery. Michael uses neuromuscular therapy, myofascial-structural integration techniques, and movement to help with the recovery.
