This was my first acupuncture experience. I booked my initial 90min consultation with Julie. She was so incredibly nice and attentive. I have already recommended her to coworkers who have been dealing with pain. She helped me address pain and soreness in my lower back and glutes. After my appointment in the afternoon, I woke up the next day feeling better! The pain lessened significantly and I was able to walk and move around more comfortably. I really appreciated how caring Julie was during the whole process. She listened carefully to my issues and checked in with my pain tolerance during the dry needling session. Thank you, Julie!!! I had initially come because I had been planning to complete a marathon in March, so I am so thankful for Julie’s help. She helped me relieve pain and also feel less scared hahaha

I booked a massage three weeks in advance with a specific therapist. A week before my appointment, they called and said that therapist was leaving, so I agreed to see someone else instead. When I arrived on time for my appointment, I overheard staff saying the therapist wasn’t there and that they were trying to contact other locations. After waiting about 10 minutes, it became clear my appointment wasn’t going to happen. What made the situation worse was the lack of empathy. There wasn’t even a traditional front desk, I was speaking to someone through a MacBook/Zoom setup. I had to be the one to ask whether any kind of discount or credit would be offered after my appointment couldn’t be honored. I came in expecting a relaxing experience and instead left feeling extremely frustrated and upset. I understand mistakes happen, but customers’ time should be respected and handled with better communication and care.

I first came to AOH for first-time acupuncture. Joseph was wonderful and helped me release a ton of tension I was carrying in my upper body and jaw. I also began to see Rosa, who has the most intuitive touch with the human body - her massages are literally medicine. I highly recommend both practitioners! 10/10 But I really want to highlight my experience with Julie. It was a happy accident that I ended up in an appointment with her at a time when Joseph was already booked. I immediately had a connection with her and decided to go all in on Qi mapping and treatment for not only the physical ailments, but the emotional and spiritual stuckness I was feeling. Despite having spent the better part of the last 5-6 years on my healing journey, using a variety of helpful modalities, I knew I was still struggling to release some emotional baggage. If you've ever read "The Body Keeps The Score," you know what I'm talking about. Julie's approach and her kind, warm nature were just what I needed. After only a few weekly sessions, I began to feel better than I had ever felt in my whole life. Joy began to pour back into my daily life rapidly. I felt like boundaries I struggled to keep before were easier to uphold, and my devotion to my wellness grew with her continued support. Physical tension that've carried in my neck, shoulders, and jaw for my whole life was virtually gone! This treatment has cast such a wide net of positive benefits that I struggle to describe and name them all. I am so grateful for the experience I have had with Julie and ALL staff at AOH Sandy Springs. This whole business is a gem, and I am so glad I found it. Thank you AOH!

Incredible massage! Rosa found exactly where I was in pain without me even telling her! She made me feel SO much better! I have had MANY massages in Atlanta, and no one has been as knowledgeable and impactful as Rosa!

After over a year of frequent visits, I would never recommend this practice due to issues I do not wish to detail publicly. Initially my experience was truly life-changing, but I ultimately regret starting my dry needling/acupuncture journey here. The harm I am left with overshadowed and tainted any benefit that was gained.
