I’ve been a patient at Pearl since 2015 at all their location (currently Park Rd), and my experience over the years has been consistently excellent. The hygienists and doctors are thorough, highly professional, and gentle (unlike previous dentists, I can almost fall asleep during a cleaning with how careful they are). They take their time, explain what they’re seeing, and make sure I understand both current issues and future risks. The front desk and support staff are super friendly and helpful, which makes every visit smooth and welcoming. What really sets Pearl apart is the experience. It feels elevated, comfortable, and inviting without ever losing the seriousness of a top-tier medical practice. Every appointment feels a bit VIP-like, while still being efficient and grounded in real clinical care. I especially appreciate their transparency and honesty. They’ve repeatedly given me realistic timelines on dental work and helpful insights. For example, warning me that an older filling was loosening and would likely need attention “within a year or two.” Sure enough, it failed about a year later, exactly as predicted. They don’t rush me into work; instead, they help me prioritize intelligently and plan ahead. When I've needed invasive work done, they make it as quick and painless as possible. I’ve seen some reviews suggesting Pearl “pushes” crowns or expensive treatments. That hasn’t been my experience at all. In my case, their recommendations have been specific, evidence-based, and accurate over time. I’d describe their approach as prudent and proactive, not sales-driven — though I can see how thorough, future-focused care could be misinterpreted as "pushy". Overall, Pearl combines clinical excellence, thoughtful long-term planning, and a genuinely elevated patient experience. That's what keeps me coming back, and recommending them, 11 years later.

I recently moved to Charlotte and needed a dentist. I am so glad I found Dr. Sal and his team at the Park Road location last week! They were very easy to make an appointment with and I appreciate their reminders. They did a full evaluation, went over the results and explained the treatment options. They worked me in quickly and got my teeth taken care of with no problem! I can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Sal and everyone I have interacted with. I used to dread going to the dentist, but they make it much more enjoyable! 10/10 recommend!

Dentist Jenny Gandhi (owner, loves doing un-needed dental work for money) wanted to do 2 crowns. Was skeptical so I got a second opinion from 2 other dentists. They said “Crown? What are you talking about you don’t even need a filling” Unethical dentists looking for money grabs. Trying to get patients to do procedures that aren’t needed to collect that money. Do better for your profession.

From the moment I walked into Pearl Dentistry, I felt completely welcomed and at ease. The entire environment is so warm and friendly, which is exactly what you want when visiting the dentist. What truly sets them apart is the expertise and approachability of the whole staff. The dentist was fantastic-their friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease, and they were brilliant at explaining treatment options in a clear, easy-to-understand way. There was no pressure, just clear information. My experience with the dental hygienist, Arriege, was also quick, thorough, and incredibly friendly. She made sure I understood every step and was genuinely a pleasure to chat with. The level of professionalism and care the entire team provided was absolutely top-notch.
