I just finished my Third session with Laya at Complexions Vancouver MedSpa. Laya is kind and very knowledgeable, I have seen a big difference in reduced hair growth around my face. Truly life changing experience not having to stress over shaving or waxing. I have three more sessions can't wait to see the finished results. I love the flexibility of appointment times and days. This experience overall is going great.

Laya is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and takes great care to make sure her clients have a pain-free laser hair removal experience. She proceeds very carefully and checks often to make sure you are comfortable. She uses some kind of cooling gel or technology and I felt absolutely nothing! I can tell you that I have not always had this quality of experience at other spas - at one other spa I had such extreme pain during the exact same procedure that I will never go back. I will however from now on continue to see Laya as I have 100% confidence in her knowledge , ability, compassion and skill. She’s also very helpful about suggesting other procedures that would be especially helpful for your situation. Last but not least she has a very warm personality and it is fun just to chat with her during the visit - you will feel very comfortable with her right off the bat!!

I would honestly give this place 2 out of 5 stars. I originally purchased 3 sessions for medium-to-large laser hair removal through Groupon. I wanted to get a Brazilian service since it was mentioned on Groupon that this service applied to medium-to-large areas. When I arrived for my appointment, Laya, the owner, told me that Groupon had made a mistake and that Brazilian services were not covered. She recommended armpits, bikini, or arms instead, and I chose the armpit service. Pros: Immediate results after the first laser session on my armpits No pain or recovery time Each session took about 15–20 minutes Cons: During the first session, she grabbed my face and pulled it toward her to get a better look. She pointed out that I had acne and acne scars and was very pushy about me purchasing her IPL and microneedling treatments. I politely declined. Keep in mind, I never asked about other services or made any comments about my face. During the second session, she brought up my face again and tried to get me to do laser for my bikini line. She also asked me to leave a Google review. During the third and final session, she again pushed IPL and microneedling. This time, she also said I had too much hair on my upper lip and chin and suggested laser treatment for those areas. She asked for a Google review again. After the session, she tried to get me to purchase another 3 sessions. I told her I couldn’t afford it at the moment. She responded, “Oh, I thought you would purchase it today since it’s the last day for the deals.” I declined and left. She never asked me to sign a questionnaire or consent form before the first session. Overall: I would not return for any services. Thank you.

Wow! What a wonderful evening with Laya. She took great care of me, and really was detailed in getting all my blackheads off my face and even went behind my ears, neck, and scalp line. My skin is glowing and feels and looks SOOO much better. I’m struggling with hormonal acne right now and Laya did a 360 on my skin. She has the most warm and welcoming soul and I truly felt comfortable and safe. It was really nice to be in her presence as she’s such a sweet and beautiful lady-inside & out. Thank you Laya, I can’t wait to come back. 🩷

I couldn’t be happier with my laser hair removal experience. From the very first appointment, the staff made me feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. They explained the process clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout each session. Hair growth has significantly reduced, my skin feels smoother, and I no longer deal with constant shaving, irritation, or ingrown hairs. The technology they use feels modern and effective, and the clinic itself is always clean and professional. What really sets this place apart is the consistency and attention to detail — every session felt personalized, and they truly care about results, not just rushing appointments.
