I picked these folks at random from dentists covered by my plan and have been delighted with the work I have done here. The dentist and staff are friendly and capable. The ambiance of the waiting room is relaxing and comfortable. I had a complex, long-term, root canal followed by a dental implant for which my insurance company dropped coverage halfway through. Not only am I delighted with the final product, but they submitted a claim to have the part of the procedure not covered and submitted multiple appeals until the insurance company finally relented and covered the entire procedure. I felt like this was going above and beyond.

I was referred to Cityscape Dental through clear choice dental. I started my treatment with Cityscape dental in April 2022 and completed my treatment plan in November 2022. I spent $13,500 to pay for two 3 part bridges, and two 2 part bridges totaling 10 crowns. My initial opinion of Cityscape was positive. They had a beautifully decorated dental office. I never had to wait very long to see the dentist considering that there was only one dentist on staff that was impressive. Everyone on staff was a hygienist or an assistant. The receptionist was seemingly friendly, even though I had a few passive aggressive encounters with her over their mask policy, which basically summed up to be whatever they wanted it to be on any given day. That caused a lot of confusion for me but ultimately was never really an issue. As I said, before, I completed my treatment plan in November 2022 and initially, I was very happy and pleased with the work, only to find out after visiting my primary dentist for a routine cleaning, and x-rays and to make sure there was no additional cosmetic work that I needed. I learned At the appointment with my primary dentist that they’d discovered through x-ray that I had large and concerning margins on every single bridge that Dr. Oz had installed. For those of you who don’t know what a margin is, it is a gap between the gumline, and the crown that leaves your natural tooth unprotected. Leaving you vulnerable to recurring decay, future toothaches and tooth failure. I now am a patient at the University of Minnesota where they have suggested the removal of the damaged bridges placed by Dr. Oz and replacing them. Again,I spent $13,500 with Dr. oz. After informing him about the damages he offered reimbursement because I was unsure about having Dr Oz do the repairs. Now that I’ve actually requested a refund Dr. Oz has refused to give me my money back. I am now spending over $12,000 And countless amount of hours at the University of Minnesota to fix the damage that he has caused. I am struggling financially to do so because of Dr. Oz’s refusal to give me my money back. I’m writing this review to warn consumers to avoid avoid Dr. Oz at all cost. He will take your money and perform work that looks good to the naked eye only to find our later that beneath the surface there are damages that will eventually cause you further damages or potential loss of your teeth. He will not take responsibility for his mistakes, and he does not take pride in his reputation as a reliable, and trustworthy dentist. Avoid Cityscape Dental completely. I am still in tune process of repairing the damage. It has been a long and painful process. I have been documenting the entire thing. I have attached a few photos from my last few dentist appointments at the U of M. The U of M has been my saving grace in this entire situation.

I quite randomly came across CityScape Dental in an online search after a long time putting off needed dental work due to bad experiences with my prior dentist. I was very happy to find Dr. Oz and his team are incredible! Everyone was kind, communicative, and made sure to get me timely care despite being a new patient. Dr. Oz is gentle and efficient in his work and every step of the process was explained to me. Multiple dental visits over the course of a month is no one's idea of fun (several fillings and a cracked molar that needed a root canal + crown) but CityScape made this the best experience it could possibly be.
