Goddess Electrolysis

I had an issue initially where the consultation I had scheduled online didn't go well - front door was locked, didn't know how to get in, didn't know who to call or contact, none of my emails were being answered... I ended up having to wait outside until someone else went in so I could wait somewhere that wasn't the sweltering heat. Eventually, after wandering around the building aimlessly for probably 20 minutes, I see someone who looks like they might be able to help me. I ask her if she knows where Goddess is, she says she works for them. I explain to her I have an appointment for a consultation, she tells me she wasn't aware of one and that she'd check with her coworkers. Another 10 minutes pass of waiting, she apologizes profusely and tells me she can do my consultation. I learn all about the process, she tells me to come back in two weeks and apologizes again. I thank her and go on about my day. The sessions with my electrologist were amazing - she was super cool, funny, and knew what she was doing, I felt like I was in good hands. I go through probably eight sessions with her, until I get a text that reads: "Hi [my name], today I was informed that I will no longer be performing services at Goddess Electrolysis. It is unfortunate and unexpected, and I am truly sorry for the impact this may have on your treatment plan." To say I was shocked is an understatement. You're telling me a healthcare facility just suddenly closed its doors? I ask her, "Did they fire you?" "Yes. July discharged [all electrologists] and suspended all appointments the next day." July - how can you, as a trans person, do this to your community? Does it not feel awful cutting off care for your siblings? I understand Minnesota is an at-will employment state, but does it not feel bad to know you've just cut four people loose from their jobs with no notice whatsoever? Shame on you.

The technicians are kind enough. But the facility has policies that I would consider to be very unethical and could easily be taken advantage of. I totally get their appointments are important regarding thier revenue, but charging 100% for a missed appointment is wild and there are plenty of other locations that don't have policies like this. In my case, I had to undergo surgery and was incapable listing my ability to come in after the week information I had given them. Considering I was incapable of even communication with or reaching out with others, I was charged despite this. Again great technicians, not so sure about the administration.

July is awesome, she does an excellent job and treats clients with the utmost respect. It's a great place for hair removal! Queer friendly and very professional. If you're looking for hair removal for surgery, you can't do better than Goddess.

July does an amazing job of making sure her clients are comfortable as possible during electrolysis. She's dedicated to making sure you receive good care and that you will get the best possible results to help you heal after the procedure. Cannot recommend Goddess Electrolysis enough if you need hair removal, especially if you are a member of the trans community.

July goes above and beyond to make her clients feel comfortable before, during, and after electrolysis sessions. She does a remarkably good job at killing hairs and helping the client in any way possible, whether that's with aftercare, insurance, etc. I highly recommend Goddess Electrolysis to anyone interested in electrolysis, especially trans women!
