Kathryn M. at Define Beauty MN is by far the most skilled aesthetician and permanent makeup artist in the Twin Cities. As a first-time client, I trusted Kathryn with microblading and shading my nearly invisible eyebrows in 2021. Four years later, I am still thrilled with the results. My brows look natural, full, and perfectly suited to my face and expression. Her custom shade matches my unique red/auburn hair color, and the pigment has stayed true with no fading or turning tint, which is often a sign of less experienced permanent makeup artist. Kathryn is meticulous, both as a permanent makeup artist and as an aesthetician. She never oversells, and she is simply a joy to be around. I could not recommend her more highly.

As a man haven’t had a ton of experience with facials and self care. Went on a recommendation to visit Define Beauty, and was put at ease with Kathryn’s, kind and warm demeanor. She has incredible knowledge in every area we discussed. I was there for some micro-needling. She explained everything and how it worked before she started the process. It was a cakewalk… I booked an appointment, right then and there for the next treatment and look forward to working with her again. She is a true artist, and perfectionist. I highly recommend.

Kathryn is an artist and perfectionist! I have to admit that I followed her on social for probably 5 years before I finally decided to make the appointment. Now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long! My brows had been suffering from over plucking from the pencil brows of the 90's and then graying in my 40's. I feel like a new woman! No amount of trying to draw in my brows ever got them nearly as even as they look now, and I despised taking so much time just to try to look presentable to run out the door. Forget trying to get ready for the occasional "dress up" outing! THANK YOU! My eyes look so nice again for the first time in years. Kathryn is an absolute artist and I appreciate her desire for perfection. She’s precise and takes the time to measure and design eyebrows that fit ones face.
