I held off on writing a review of this establishment for awhile after several ongoing complications with a crown they recommended and installed in September 2024 on a tooth that gave me no issues (no sensitivity to hot, cold, or pressure). Then remade & reinstalled in December 2024 since the crown had issues. Now less than a year later June 2025 it’s already chipped from eating unshelled pistachios when it’s supposed to last “15-20 years.” It even popped off during a routine dental cleaning in February 2025. Do not recommend this place at all. Go to another dentist & seek 2nd opinions before taking their word on work “needing” to be done. Incompetent staff couldn’t even locate my dental insurance after all information was provided. If it’s not coming up in MI, you should know to ask which state it’s through. The one person I liked was the hygienist Jonny & pretty sure she left.

This is the best Dental Center I have ever been to. Dr. Kaigler, Jonnie, and the entire staff here are extremely knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything pertaining to your teeth in great, clear and concise detail. I was referred to Dr. Kaigler after 3.5 years without seeing a Dentist, and every appointment and procedure I needed was enjoyable and painless. Every staff member here is professional, courteous, and kind the moment you walk into the office. The level of care and attention to detail is unmatched here at the Detroit Dental Specialty Center. I highly recommend everyone contact the Detroit Dental Specialty for any and all Dental needs.

One of the top rising upcoming dental services provider in Detroit. My hygienist, Jonnie, is one of the best hygienist and very professional. She loves her work and is extremely thorough in her cleaning. Also, getting Invisalign done by Dr. Kaigler!! Highly recommend this team for any dental care needs.
