I first met Kim when she came into my workplace letting me know she was servicing the area and we connected instantly, as I was a student of massage therapy myself at the time. When I finally booked a session, it greatly exceeded my expectations. Kim is an experienced and gifted master of the art of massage. Her techniques with reflexology and ability to read the body from the feet up is remarkable. Her therapeutic touch and comforting care put my worries at ease. She is professional, friendly, all about the details, and deeply cares for the community. I strongly recommend her work! Im looking forward to my next session!

Highly, highly recommend Kimochi! Seamless online booking, plenty of parking, immaculate individual and group rooms, gorgeous overall space, kind and warm people. I've worked with Geo for acupuncture and have also booked Michelle for groups for massage before as well. Both are experts at what they do. Acupuncture here has become such a key way for me to stay migraine free. Geo brings in several modalities, customizes each session to be responsive, is very respectful, and listens well to both what I say and what he picks up from the different ways he's able to check symptoms from the body. I have done acupuncture before with other practitioners but never gotten this level of whole body relief - at Kimochi, I notice it during the session and then continue to feel improvements after. Scheduled appt today for 3 pm. Stopped around the corner to get a bite to eat 1 hr before my appt. Only to find out that Ms. Kim recommends no eating 2-3 hrs before service. Thanks a lot Ms. Kim. She never mentioned any do"s and don'ts. I am livid. This was the only day & time slot that was available before my B Day on Friday. Of course I'm dissappointed. Very unprofessional.

Kim is absolutely the truth, she literally can feel the crystals(knots) in your feet. I told her I have sinus issues and she felt it in my feet. She even told me my shoulder (which I never spoke on) was having a problem which it does because of a pinched nerve in my neck. She completely understands the body and nervous system. If you want to get well please come to her business. It's beautiful and calming scenery along with her skills. Everything will be alright!

Typically, I do not post reviews. However, I had to share this time. My first visit to Kimochi Detroit was Awesome!!! The entire visit, from beginning to end, exceeded my expectations!! The space is inviting, clean and calming with plenty of positive energy. Kim was the "Best"!! I learned so much, including a brief introduction to sound therapy, home remedy for sinus issues and how important correct posture is, especially for someone like me who sits over a computer 50 hours a week. After my first wellness visit, I was so relaxed (complete opposite from the start of my appointment). I also slept well and am still walking with no pain!! I'm looking forward to my next visit!!!
