This is absolutely the best piercing studio in all of Pittsburgh and their jewelry selection is thoroughly stunning, features the best designers in the industry, and is much larger compared to other studios. For serious body jewelry fans, this is heaven! Everyone there is incredibly friendly and my piercer, Max, is very precise and detail oriented and I could not be happier with my results so far as I had some very specific requests. I’m just so happy with how careful they are with piercing placement and making sure their clients are happy and get exactly what they want, which hasn’t always been the case for me at other studios in Pittsburgh. Genuinely I cannot speak highly enough of Max and all of their staff. The studio is also pristine and they are hard core about their flawless hygiene standards. I definitely won’t go anywhere else as I have many more piercings planned. Thank you to everyone at Hot Rod for giving me such a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning soon!

What a great and friendly group of people! I'm 63, and have wanted a Prince Albert piercing for over 40 years. Lots of homework, and HRPC stood out. Clean, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff, made my experience great. Tanner was my piercer, and Cade was observing the procedure. Both guys put me at ease immediately, explained EVERYTHING at each step, and the piercing part was over in a second. Couldn't have went better. I highly recommend these two, and the shop overall. Very professional.

I cannot gush how wonderful my experience was! I did a jewelry curation for all of my piercings and Kade was welcoming, kind, and insightful in helping me pick out exactly what I wanted. After Kade’s expert guidance, Tanner changed out my old jewelry for the new, fitting every single one skillfully. I have never felt this comfortable and stylish with my body art! The entire establishment was clean with so many beautiful pieces to choose from in a range of prices. The cherry on top was the way the place lit up with the warm welcome the staff brought to the space. I wish there were more stars to give because they deserve every single one! I can’t wait to go back to add to my piercings. 100/10 recommend 🙌🏻

I've gotten multiple piercings and downsizes done here by Tanner. Definitely the best peircer I've had! His skills are top tier as is his small talk and explainations. Front end staff are also amazing and the shop is very clean. If you want a piercing and are near pgh, hotrod is the best.

This is definitely the place to go for piercings in Pittsburgh, the jewelry selection is amazing and they have lots of great options for self expression and everything who works here is extremely nice, welcoming, and informative. My piercer Max was especially very comforting for my first piercing he talked me through every step and I did not feel nervous at all. Can't recommend this place ENOUGH!
