⭐️ I scheduled an appointment for my annual teeth cleaning after calling ahead and being told the new Jefferson location accepted my insurance. When I arrived, I was taken back and started X-rays. Midway through, the hygienist was interrupted and told the front desk would need to speak with us. After the X-rays were finished, the front desk staff informed me they actually do not accept my insurance. I was told I could try places like Castle Dental and, if I didn’t like their quality of care, I could return here and set up a monthly payment plan. I was then escorted to the front to leave—without receiving my cleaning. This was extremely frustrating. I had verified my insurance in advance, only to be turned away halfway through my visit. The hygienist was kind and professional, but this situation should have been handled before I was brought back for imaging. Clear communication and verification beforehand would have saved time and avoided a very disappointing experience. Update: After my original review, Smile Haus reached out to personally apologize for my experience and made it right by offering me a complimentary cleaning. They were able to get me scheduled promptly, which I really appreciated. This visit was a completely different experience. My hygienist, Crystal, was amazing. She had my imaging pulled up during the cleaning and carefully reviewed the areas that needed extra attention, which made me feel like she was being thorough and intentional with my care. Everyone, including the administrative team, was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I truly appreciate the effort Smile Haus made to correct the situation and ensure I had a positive experience this time around.

I initially chose this clinic for its convenient location, but unfortunately, the administrative side has been disappointing. Appointment availability is very limited, and communication could be significantly improved. As someone who travels frequently and has a busy schedule, I have found it difficult to get things done here efficiently. Since I have already completed my annual exam and scanning for the year, I will likely stay for now, but in hindsight, I would have been better off driving further to a clinic that is more accommodating to flexible scheduling

Very happy with the Smile Haus team! I’ve been with this practice for over 10 years and highly recommend Dr. Stocker. He’s done several crowns for me, along with other dental work, and I couldn’t be happier with both his thorough approach and the results.

Dr. Stocker has been taking care of us for many years, and we have always received excellent care. Nina has been taking care of cleaning and photographing my teeth on my last few visits, and I think she is excellent! The front office is also run very well, in all my years I have never had to contact my insurance myself.

I have been going to Dr. Stocker since 2006. His has been an amazing dentist and his staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly encourage everyone to go to Smile Haus for their dental needs!
