Shirien Coover and the the assistive medical staff and office staff were all great. Everyone friendly and also professional. It was my first visit, and it was a pleasant surprise that Shirien took a moment at the beginning of the visit to ask me about where I was from and what I did for work before diving into the medical stuff. When it came to the medical stuff she did a great job of explaining what she suspected the issue was and why she thought that to be the case. She was very direct and clear in providing me information about the pros and cons of the more conservative and more direct options I could proceed with, and what the course of treatment for each would probably look like. I look forward to seeing her for any future dermatology needs and will be recommending her to any friends and family with skin concerns.

Love both Dr. Hendrix and PA Shirien Coover. Been going there for years now for annual skin checks, occasional medical procedure, and a few spiff ups. They offer a bunch of options and great medical perspective. Lovely central office location, modern and clean feel, low low staff turnover, always a good sign. Love their use of technology so I don’t have to keep filling out the same paper forms every year. Oh, and they still keep People magazine in the lobby, woohoo! Thank you, Shirien, for your kindness this past week.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hendrix since middle school, and that alone says a lot. Over the years, he has consistently provided excellent care and made every visit a positive experience. He is attentive, easy to talk to, and truly cares about his patients’ well-being. I’m very grateful to have had such a trustworthy doctor for so many years and would recommend him without hesitation.

Great experience, as usual. Dr. Cadmus really stays on top of my skin issues and offers helpful suggestions. Also a shout out to Victoria at checkout/scheduling in the 34th St. office. She's so friendly, kind and efficient! Always a nice end to my visit!

Another +1 for how unreasonable the grace period is for appointments. I waited over two months for this appointment and drove across town to make an 8:00am time slot. I walked in at 8:09am. There was a short line to check in, and by the time I reached the desk a few minutes later, I was told I’d already been marked as a no-show. The cutoff is 10 minutes. I was literally in the building before that, yet the receptionist refused to even check with the back and said, “I’m not even going to walk back there, there’s no point.” No effort to work with me at all. A 15-minute grace period, or even a little flexibility for someone who clearly showed up, would have made a huge difference. Canceling an appointment after months of waiting when the patient is already there, again before the cutoff) is frustrating. I won’t be back.
