I am a new patient and everyone at Dr. Burton’s office is extremely nice! Dr. Burton was very thorough on my initial exam, explained things in detail and was very easy to talk to. My hygienist, Charlie, was amazing. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and took the time to explain everything she was doing. Thank you to the receptionists who did the scheduling and made every very smooth. I would highly recommend this office for your dental hygiene!!

My experience as a new patient at Southern Smiles was truly amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with open arms and felt welcomed. Samantha was kind and gentle, explaining what we were doing and why. Barbara was very sweet and concise when addressing my finances. Dr. Burton is hands down the most patient, understanding, and nicest doctor I have worked with. She thoroughly explained each and every step which alleviated the nerves I had. I don't particularly enjoy going to the dentist due to past experiences, but not once did I feel like "just another" patient to Dr. Burton and her wonderful team. Thank you again!

Most people don’t love going to the dentist, but the Southern Smiles team made my experience a pleasant one. As a new patient, I got X-rays and photos taken first, and then Dr. Burton came in to explain extensively (and in terms I could understand), what the X-rays told her. She made sure to tell me what she was doing throughout each step, thoroughly went over the results, and explained why it helped her treat me. The dental hygienist, Charlie, was wonderful. She made sure to check on me throughout the cleaning, and let me know what she was doing so there were no surprises. Both Dr. Burton and Charlie made suggestions for me to do at home to keep my teeth and gums healthy. It was a no pressure, informative experience. Lastly, I was checked out and rescheduled by the lovely front desk ladies, Barbara and Samantha. They provided me with receipts and ensured I was good to go with an smile. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Burton’s practice to anyone who wants a good dental experience. The staff really cares about your health and wellbeing.

I had the best experience at Southern Smiles. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Bethany took her time to explain things to me in depth and made sure to answer all of my questions. Her assistant was also super sweet and made me feel very at ease through out my whole appointment. I especially liked when they went over my treatment plan and helped me book my next appointment and helped me understand what my insurance covers and what my waiting period was. The whole staff was amazing.

Dr. Burton is the best dentist I’ve ever been to in my 39 years on this planet. The entire staff is friendly, competent, and genuinely caring. The care is thorough and clearly explained, you always understand what’s happening and why, and you’re never left confused or talked down to. What matters most to me is that there is absolutely no shaming or blaming around the condition of your teeth. That alone sets this practice apart. I trust Dr. Burton completely, and as long as she’s practicing, I won’t go anywhere else. Even my kids love her. I truly can’t give higher praise.
